IN A NUTSHELL :

  •     The "undesirability" junior professorship chair is part of the ‘Cultures, Societies, Changing Practices’ Hub at the University of Lille.
  •     It is housed within the IRHIS laboratory.
  •     The chairholder is Aurélie Audeval.
  •     The chair will run for 5 years, from September 2022 to August 2027.
  •     Its aim is to study the transnational genealogies of the ‘undesirable’ category of public action from 1870 to 1945.
